The Marais des Cygnes Society shall promote the preservation of Missouri’s historical past and the conservancy of her native plants and animals.  This shall be done directly through active preservation efforts of historical structures, roads and trails land conservation and cultural practices, with educational programs and indirectly by assisting other non-profit organizations with similar goals.
